The 2016 Canadian Junior Table Tennis Championships, and 2016 Canadian Table Tennis Championships were hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba from July 5 to 10, 2016. The Canadian Championships is the biggest annual national tournament. It attracts all players from across the nation and fight for the champion titles.

Geng Table Tennis Players – Jean Fei (18 years old), Karen Fei (15 years old), Sabrina Chen (14 years old) and Howard Chen (16 years old), represented TEAM ONTARIO and the 4 GTTA players won a combined total of 13 MEDALS in the 6 days competition.

Junior Boys doubles – Bronze (Howard)

Junior Girls doubles – Gold (Sabrina)

Junior Girls doubles – Silver (Jean)

Cadet Girls Team – Silver (Sabrina, Karen)

Lastly, we also congratulate coach – Horatio Pintea who was selected as Ontario Coach for the tournament! His great efforts and expertise also helped team Ontario captured multiple medals in the tournament!
