The first tournament of 2017 for GTTA-ers was the Quebec Circuit #4 on February 4^th and 5^th. Five GTTA players headed to Collège Letendre in Laval, Quebec.  They are Rickey Deng, Judy Zhong, Elijah Godfrey, Howard Chen and Sabrina Chen.

First day of the tournament featured all singles events. Howard Chen, seeded #5 in the Open event, cruised to the main draw by winning all opponents in the groups stage. Although Howard lost to the gold medalist – Antoine Bernadet at the semi-finals, he won over Tommy Xu (6,-7,8,6) and captured Bronze medal.

Judy Zhong, turned 10 in last summer, got silver medal at U250 (mixed group of boys and girls).

On the team events side, Rickey Deng and Elijah Godfrey, upset the field and captured 1^st place in the Team event – Category E. In a spectacular doubles match against Tommy Xu and Edward Ly, Howard Chen and his teammate – Antoine Bernadet of QC, eventually prevailed with 3-2 and locked down the gold medal in Team event – Category A.
